First of all, if you love trout - and I know you do since you checked this out - then the Royal Trout Farm is going to put you into a tizzy. Be prepared to get your trout freak on, kids.
We only fished for about 10 minutes, but got well over a dozen trout, so we had a nice meal, but definitely not on the property.
Next, you can visit the ponds. DO NOT SWIM WITH THE TROUTLINGS! This is generally frowned upon (if they catch you). But, if you do swim with the trout, make sure you are wearing a bodysuit as they tend to be hungry and will nip and pretty much _everything_. I would also suggest not yelling "I'M A SHARK! NOM NOM NOM!" while splashing with your fish friends. This scares them.
All in all, it's a great place to visit and eat.
You first make your way to the parking lot where you can watch a video about the farm and operations. I'm totally glad I sat through this because the mandatory quiz about the three other trout farming operations would have been missed and our journey through Nebraska would have been done with less satisfaction.
